So we got to the end of this path in Threlkeld and a big metal gate prevented us getting any further. The gate was locked . . . with a four-digit combination lock. So I says to R******, "Hey, these things are dead easy to crack. D'ya wanna have a go?" and then explained how to find the correct numbers to open the lock. R****** got bored and so I took over. A minute or two later I joyfully held aloft the open lock to all and sundry. My work done, I put the lock back, scrambled the numbers and then casually glanced upwards. Oh. A security camera! Ah. Perhaps the footage will serve to remind those responsible that something slightly more secure might be called for. Hmmmm. Yes. I merely drew attention to a security flaw. I think that's how it works . . . Anyway, I love the idea of rocks 'moving out', kind of like what your teenage children would do when they get sick of all the parental nagging and what not.
