Northern Lights, part three!!!

The north-west of England, where cloud cover is, erm, common (not to mention the light pollution) . . . and here we are, the aurora borealis twice in one year. What on earth?! I mean, who needs to go beyond the Arctic circle when we have it here?! Anyone thinking of the star gate sequence towards the end of 2001 (the film), or is it just me?! Just me . . . okay, moving on.
