Went out for a few drinks after work. First we were at Whitelocks . . . for a couple of hours. Shame the beer wasn't up to much. Then Scarbrough Taps (mmmmmm, good beer), and then home. I think that's all I have to say for myself right now. Today's competition: where am I? Clue: think corporate facilities management.

- Comment: Wow I haven't been to Whitelocks for years! (Actually, that's because I haven't spent much time in Leeds for years). I heard that it was being bought and made over by some horrible pub chain - has that happened or is it like it was before (i.e. about 4 yrs ago)? The lack of quality in beer terms suggests that it has happened.

- Comment: I still have no idea which Tom C this is, but whatever. Whitelocks still looks the same, yes, but the beer ain't quite right. Something may well have changed. A good selection of whiskey, though. Whisky, whiskey, whatever.
