That is seriously odd. I'm thinking about a track by Aphex Twin . . . the one I recently downloaded . . . Mt. Saint Michel or something like that. I open up my music player, xmms, put it on shuffle and the next track that comes on, out of 2837 other tracks is . . . Mt. Saint Michel by Aphex Twin. How does that work? Thought I would just share that with you . . . carry on, though.

- Comment: That happened to me the other day too! But it wasn't Aphex Twin. Now that would be weird.

- Comment: Well isn't it supposed to be random and that proves it works in a properly random way?

- Comment: Actually ignore that, i've just read it properly. What I should have said was something like, "Once I finished watching a film on video and when I stopped the tape half way through the telly was playing the same film at the same moment." Or maybe I'm not wrong and your computer is wired into your head and playing MP3s on your hypothalamus?

- Comment: Haven't managed to get the hypothalamus thing wired up properly yet. But, I have also experienced the video thing. In fact, I think your original post was correct. Erm.... could random things be the proof that there is actually some order?

- Comment: I never know which Tom C you are. Sheffield Tom or Austria Tom?! Anyway, the thing is, I've probably turned on my music player 2837 (or more) times and had a track come on that I really didn't want to hear. It's all probabilities and stuff. I shouldn't be too amazed.
