| I think we're somewhere near Rusland here. So where were the boys? Hmmmm . . . otherwise engaged. Not too sure. With grandparents? Sleepovers? Or just didn't feel like a walk in the Lakes? Don't know. I mean, I'm writing this on 10th October, so it's hardly surprising if I can't quite remember. Anyway, when were the storms? February? Yes, they were in February. I remember that. We were on holiday in Somerset and decided to come home slightly early, as we were in a part of the country directly on the path of said storm. Looks like when it reached this part of the Lakes, a fair few trees were downed. The path was tricky, but not impossible. We figured if this path was a designated right-of-way (it's not: it's provided by the Forestry Commission) and a little more well known, it probably would have been cleared a long time ago. But hey-ho, not to worry. Found this gorgeous lake thingy anyway.
