Edinburgh

Today Helen and Stu looked after the boys whilst M**** and I had a day out in Edinburgh. The train and hotel pre-booked, we had very little to worry about. Our biggest problem that night was, "But where to eat?" as everywhere in the Old Town was all booked up. A brief wander into the Princes Street kind of direction and there were all manner of restaurants willing and able to serve us food. But hey . . . we were in part of the UK that has one of the highest number of restaurants per capita, outside London, or something like that. Lots of restaurants, basically. We went to the first one we found (Cafe Rouge) and they had tables available so we were like, "Yep, that'll do."

Edinburgh again

So yeah . . . before the inevitable train back, we did a bit of wandering around, bit of shopping, grabbed a coffee and that was about it. Hello? The train back was quiet, which I guess kinda figured, this being the Sunday before a Bank Holiday and all that.
