A****** has come down with the good old Chicken Pox, poor thing. I think that started on, erm . . . Wednesday, was it? Yeah, Wednesday.

I think I took this picture just before we went out that day. A****** was at the birthday party of one his friends, whilst me, R****** and M**** went to Arnside and then, briefly, checking out the children's playhouses at Broadoak.

New toy
   
Maybe I should explain what the 'new toy' is but I'm sure the observant will have worked that out by now. The new toy is an Olympus Pen E-PL1 and I'm loving it. Picture quality is way superior to my old Canon Powershot thingy. Plus, I have the option to change lens, if I so desire. Having inherited a load of my dad's old analogue SLRs, I'm vaguely thinking of buying adaptors so that I can experiment with my dad's old camera lens on the Olympus Pen. But yeah . . . it's all good. The picture of R****** was taken with some sort of artsy, blurry effect, hoping to disguise R******'s unsightly chicken pox spots.
