I think the original plan had been to leave Lancaster not long after dropping off the boys at school. We had to adjust that plan slightly and got to Ambleside in the early part of the afternoon. I seem to recall we went to Doi Intanon for dinner?! Possibly a couple of drinks at the Golden Rule (it's almost compulsory).
