Alex's Birthday Party

For A******'s 'birthday party' (as oppose to birthday itself), we hired out Scotforth St. Paul's parish hall and also hired out this Mad Science woman, as the entertainment. Then they all ate some food. I think this was all over the course of late afternoon, early evening. We had games (e.g. pass the parcel) arranged but, as it turned out,
  
there just wasn't time. It all seemed to work out well, the children (and some adults) all enthusiastically making pots of 'gloop' (or whatever) under the instructions of this Mad Science woman (I forget her name now . . . Kathryn?!). So this is very confusing . . . as these images of R******'s so-called 'graduation' (from nursery) are also time-stamped from today. Surely can't have happened?!
