Ah yes, Rob came round in the evening. When we had last spoken, I think the arrangement was that he would turn up 'sometime after 8pm', so I went to M****'s in the evening, had some chilli-con-carne and sent Rob a text message to the effect, 'Give us a ring when you get here,' which almost happened. Rob came straight to my place and was let in by Tania. A coffee and a couple glasses of wine later (an hour? an hour and a half?), Rob rang to say they were ready now, and so I could come round.
